Rica Cruz Santo is passionate about protecting the best interests of the child and achieving a favorable settlement for the parties. She is dedicated to helping people through tough times of separation to start a new beginning. Her practice at The Law Offices of Kathleen K. Reeves & Associates focuses on all aspects of marital dissolution, including spousal and child support, child custody, property division and division of retirement benefits.

Ms. Santo started her career in law practicing plaintiff's side civil litigation at Furtado, Jaspovice & Simons, representing clients in personal injury, public entity, employment discrimination and harassment, and wage and hour matters. She has settled numerous cases against different counties and cities, school districts, large business entities and insurance companies. As a litigator, she participated in all aspects of litigation, including taking and defending client, expert, and percipient witness depositions; successfully filing and opposing motions; and preparing for trial. She has arbitrated cases and has sat second chair at numerous trials. She became partner in 2010.

Ms. Santo is very involved in the community and is a frequent lecturer at community forums and is also an active member of the legal community. She is a member of Consumer Attorneys of California, San Francisco Trial Lawyers' Association, the Filipino Bar Association and Asian American Bar Association. She is on the Board of Governors for Alameda Contra Costa Trial Lawyers' Association and is the Managing Editor for the organization's magazine, The Verdict.

Ms. Santo is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley and received her J.D. from the University of San Francisco School of Law.
