Mediation to Resolve Arguments
If you do not want your divorce to dissolve into a dispute, the collaborative law process may be the answer. You can discuss issues without having to argue. Arguing costs money. We believe that mediation can get you to a better end result as opposed to having a judge make important, life-changing decisions for you.
Helping You Find Resolution with a Seasoned Certified Mediator
Attorney and founder of our firm Kathleen K. Reeves is a certified mediator who can help clients in one of two ways:
- Ms. Reeves can serve as a Court-appointed mediator selected by both parties who already have legal representation. She can resolve one or multiple issues related to a divorce. Once resolution is achieved, she writes up an order for the divorcing couple.
- Ms. Reeves can prepare documents for both sides and mediate any minor disputes. We have couples who come in who agree with all issues, but are not aware of the process. They want to make sure that all bases are covered and everything is done in a cost-effective manner. Please know that in no way does she represent either side.
